Wade H. Storkamp

Wade H. Storkamp, age 65, a resident of Pierz Township, Morrison County, MN, passed away of natural causes at his home on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Pierz, MN, with Fr. Kenneth Popp officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14th and 9:00 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15th all at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz.

There will be a parish prayer service at 7pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wade Herbert Storkamp was born on April 22, 1950, in Little Falls, Minnesota the son of Herbert and Mary Ann (Gerwing) Storkamp. He attended school in Pierz and graduated from Pierz Healy High School with the Class of 1969. Following his schooling he enlisted in the National Guard on November 28, 1969. He re-enlisted two more times and was discharged September 25, 1975. He was united in marriage to Marta Alden on November 13, 1971 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Pierz. The couple made their home in Pierz Township south of Genola along Highway 25. Wades work career included working for Crestliner in Little Falls, construction, driving milk truck, RH Drywall and DeZuriks in Sartell. He enjoyed his gardens and hobby farming and currently spending time with his two puppies by his side. Wade always encouraged his children to try and make things rather than purchase them. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Pierz.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marta; children, Shannon (Jeff) Wisneski, Stacy (Daniel) Jurkovics, Sara (John) Blechinger, Simon (Beth) Storkamp, Seth (Emily) Storkamp, Sylvia (Nate Villnow) Storkamp, Samuel(April Olson) Storkamp, Saul (Jessica) Storkamp, Sandra (Sam Mooney) Storkamp and Sean Storkamp; siblings, Scott (Barb) Storkamp, Alan (Ann) Storkamp, Charlotte (Gordon) Anderson, Violet (Bill) Herald and June (Rick) Zyvoloski; 15 grandchildren, Eric, Ryan and Kaylee Wisneski, Gage, Alec and Kaja Blechinger, Alicia, Jessica, and Riley Storkamp, Mason Schmidt and Asiah Storkamp, Colton and Justin Villnow, and Ella and Eli Storkamp.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents.
