Virginia Ringwelski, 71 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, September 25 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, September 28 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Friends may gather from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service at the church on Friday. The Christian Mother's will pray the rosary at 10:00 A.M. at the church. Virginia Ringwelski was born July 13, 1941 in Little Falls, MN to the late John and Agnes (Ebertowski) Ringwelski. She grew up in Little Falls, MN. Virginia attended Little Falls Community School graduating with the class of 1959. She was united in marriage to Merton Wellnitz on January 27, 1962 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. Virginia worked at Montgomery Wards for over 20 years. She also worked at the Thrifty White Drug Store for eight years and at the Coborns Pharmacy for 15 years where she retired in 2009. Virginia was a member of Our Lady Lourdes Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Polish Echoes. She was also a member of the Brainerd VFW Auxiliary and the Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary. Grateful for having shared her life are children, Eunice Wellnitz of Bloomington, MN and Evonne (Daniel) Bilotta-Burke of Golden Valley, MN; sister, Barbara Silgjord of Baxter, MN; 5 grandchildren, Derek Wolters, Mitchell Wolters, Myles Wolters, Owen Wellnitz and Taylor Bilotta and close personal friends, Mike Wolters, John Bilotta, Lenny Gamradt and Phyllis Braith. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Ringwelski; husband, Merton Wellnitz on July 25, 1985 and her brothers, Eugene, Leonard, Valentine, Frank, Larry and George Ringwelski.
