Timothy H. Harper, 58 year old resident of Brainerd, MN, died Monday, January 12 at his home in Brainerd, MN.A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Father Jeremy Ploof officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home. The burial will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, north of Little Falls, MN.
Timothy Hugh Harper was born November 4, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Jerry and Yvonne (Eclaire) Harper.He attended elementary school at Ascension Parochial School in South Minneapolis, MN.He received his high school diploma in Okinawa, Japan while in the military.He enlisted into the United States Marine Corp on March 31, 1975 in Minneapolis, MN.He was honorably discharged on March 30, 1978 at Camp Pendleton, California.He received a Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and Good Conduct Medal.Tim returned to Minneapolis, MN, where he worked various jobs. He moved to Royalton, MN. He worked at Larson Boats and Crestliner Boats in Little Falls, MN. Tim then went at work at United Mailing in Little Falls, MN for a few years. He entered into the apprenticeship Boilermaker program in Ramsey, MN, with the Local Union #647.Tim was united in marriage to Juanita Webb on December 24, 1999 at Capistrano Beach, California.He worked at the Nuclear Plant in Monticello, MN and at the Power Plant in Becker, MN, where he repaired boilers.He had to retire due to declining health.Tim enjoyed golfing, especially his golf league at Eagles Landing, fishing and deer hunting. He always had a joke, mostly at weird times.He enjoyed making people laugh. Tim always liked to keep things neat and tidy, especially vacuuming the garage, house and your feet if they were in the way. He also enjoyed mowing the lawn and shoveling the snow. The neighbors always thought Tim had a golf course for a lawn and a heated driveway.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Juanita Harper of Brainerd, MN; son, Travis (Jenny) Harper of Isle, MN; parents, Jerry and Yvonne Harper of Swanville, MN; siblings, Jerry (Kathy) Harper of Maple Grove, MN, Steve Harper of Wisconsin, Gail Manson of Wisconsin, Debbie Munson of Wisconsin, Mike (Liz) Harper of Monticello, MN, Kelly (Rob) Carter of Monticello, MN, Casey (Corrine) Harper of Anoka, MN; grandchildren, Maeson Harper and Gavin Harper of Isle, MN; nieces and nephews, Jenny, Justin, Jessica, Shilo, Christina, Shannon, Matt, Ryan, Lindsey, Bailey andMcCale. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Harper; nephew, Shawn Harper and a cousin, Brian Harper.
Casket Bearers will be: Casey Harper, Mark Harper, Jerry Harper, Rob Carter, Kenny Tenney, Jeff Conrad.
