Thomas L. Moltsau, age 54, of Little Falls, MN, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at his home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 a" 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 17th and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 18, 2007 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel) in Little Falls. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 20th. Thomas Lee Moltsau was born on June 18, 1952 in Onawa, Iowa the son of Herman & Esther (Stoll) Moltsau. He grew up in Onawa where he attended school. He worked for his father at Herman's Garage as a mechanic. He enlisted in the United States Army on August 29, 1972 and was honorably discharged on February 22, 1974. After the service, he returned to Iowa and started TJ Productions, a DJ business. In the early 1990's, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where he was employed with the railroad. He later transferred to Brainerd with the railroad and lived in Cross Lake. Due to his health, he retired from the railroad. He then started a new business, Hy Tech Racing, building race car engines and selling race car parts. In the late 1990's, he moved to Little Falls where he resided at the time of his death. Tom enjoyed stock car racing, building race car motors, drag racing, listening to Country Music and fishing. He was fun loving and a great father. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Joey) Dean of Little Falls, MN; sisters, Arlene Moltsau and Jeanette (Raymond) Sievers both of Onawa, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sadie Moltsau.
