Teresa Eccelston

Teresa Eccleston, age 84 of Little Falls, died Friday, June 30 at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN, where she resided for the past 9 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 6 at St. Ottos Care Center Chapel. Visitation will be held from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Thursday at St. Ottos. Burial will be in St. Marys Parish Cemetery in Little Falls.

Teresa Jean Eccleston was born on April 12, 1933 in Emporia, KS to Charles and Dorothy (Burnap) Eccleston. The family moved to Washington D.C. where Teresa graduated from St. Cecelias Academy. She went on to graduate from Dunbarton College as well as graduate school from St. Catherines University in Washington D.C. While in school, Teresa studied elementary education and educational philosophy. She loved to teach and held positions at Whittier School and St. Catherines University, St. Paul, MN. Teresa relocated from Richfield, MN and made her home in Little Falls. She was interested in sports and enjoyed sailing while she lived in Washington. She also liked reading and arts crafts. Teresa always had a special love animals, especially for her pet cats. They were like family to her. Teresa always had a ready smile for everyone and enjoyed her caregivers. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Eccleston.
