Sylvester Michael Scepurek

Sylvester M. Scepurek, age 68 of Little Falls, MN, passed away December 1, 2011, at his home in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 5, 2011, at 12:00 noon at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN with Father Mike Kellog officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 10:00 - 12:00 Noon at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. A rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the church followed by parish prayers at 7:00 P.M. Sylvester Michael Scepurek was born December 30, 1942 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late Michael and Emily (Eggert) Scepurek. He grew up on the family farm in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County, MN. He attended country school. Following his schooling, Sylvester worked with his father on the family farm and at the saw mill. He was united in marriage to Betty Adkins on June 26, 1976 at Cohasset, MN. The couple made their home on the Scepurek family farm where Sylvester resided until his death. Sylvester also worked as a custodian for 17 years at the Royalton High School. He enjoyed farming, spending time with his children and grandchildren and making people laugh. He was a very kind hearted man who was willing to do anything for anybody. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty; sons & daughter, Terry (Sara) Scepurek, James (Dolly) Scepurek, Jeff (Carol) Scepurek and Melissa Scepurek, all of Little Falls, MN; brother, Jerry Scepurek of Sartell, MN; sisters, Mary Anne (Melvin) Stumpf of Little Falls, MN, Theresa (Joe) Kuklok of Bowlus, MN, Margie (Rueben) Sufka of St. Cloud, MN, Maggie (Fidelis ) Kroll of Alexandria, MN and Rita (Pat) Bieniek of Bowlus, MN and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Emily Scepurek.
