Susan (Anfinson) Hudson, 73 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4 at 1:00 pm at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Timmothy Wenzel officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3 and from 10:30 to 12:30 pm on Wednesday, December 4 all at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.Parish Prayers will be said at 5:30 pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.


Susan Jacqueline Girtz was born November 25, 1940 in Little Falls, MN to the late Joseph and Agnes (Vertin) Girtz.She grew up in Little Falls, MN, where she graduated from St. Francis High School with the Class of 1958.She furthered her education at the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis, MN.Susan was united in marriage to George Arthur Anfinson on July 15, 1961 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN.George passed away on March 6, 1986.Susan continued living in Little Falls, MN, where she worked for the following businesses: the Little Falls Golf Course, Rings Volume Liquor, Silker Studio, United Mailing, the Morrison County Animal Humane Society and Central Minnesota Access Television. She was united in marriage to Daniel Thomas Hudson on May 25, 1991 at the Camp Ripley Chapel.The couple made their home in Little Falls, MN, where Susan was an active volunteer with the Morrison County Animal Humane Society and the Pine Grove Zoo.She enjoyed gardening, holiday decorating, spending time with her family and friends, caring for animals, spending time at the lake, cooking and backyard tropical parties. Susan always went out of her way to make everyone feel special. She was quite the social butterfly.


Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Hudson of Little Falls, MN; children, Paul (Christine) Anfinson of Eden Prairie, MN, Mark (Annie) Anfinson of Albany, MN, Daniel (Leah) Anfinson of Oxford, MI, Nancy (Thomas) Koch of Columbus, MN; brothers, Thomas (Andrea) Girtz of Walker, MN, Daniel (Pamela) Girtz of Little Falls, MN and six grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Girtz; brother, Bobby Girtz and her first husband, George Anfinson.
