Stephen Ronzheimer

Stephen P. Ronzheimer, age 94, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 17, 2014, at Little Falls Alliance Church in Little Falls, MN, with Rev. Steve Hammer officiating.Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

Stephen Philip Ronzheimer passed into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the age of 94 years, 11 months, and 7 days.He was born on April 9, 1919 to William and Frances Ronzheimer of Chicago, Illinois.He lived in the Chicago area until he moved to Little Falls three and a half years ago.He was a resident at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls.

Stephen graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, on June 13, 1942, with a degree in electronic engineering.One week before graduation, he married his sweetheart, Viola Wilson, whom he had dated since they were 16.Stephen and Viola were devoted solely to one another for almost 64 years.Viola was taken home to heaven on March 13, 2006.Stephen worked at Hazeltine Research, Inc. in Chicago for his entire career, starting as a junior engineer and finishing as President of the company.

Stephen and Viola were both committed followers of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and were active in their local church.The hospitality they demonstrated in their home was a special ministry and blessed hundreds of people.Stephen served in the church as an active teacher and leader adding his spiritual wisdom to decisions made.

Stephen Ronzheimer was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Viola; brother, Paul and sister, Elizabeth and their spouses.

He is survived by his children Philip (Mary Ellen) Ronzheimer, William (Pamela) Ronzheimer, and daughter, Kimberly Benson; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
