Stanley Prozinski

Stanley Prozinski, 89 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, April 27 at his home in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 3 at 11:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with Rev. Skaria Jonus officiating. Burial will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery North of Little Falls, MN. Friends may call from 9:30-11:30 A.M. at the church on Monday. Military Rites will be conducted by the Little Falls VFW Post #1112. Stanley was born October 29, 1920 in Pike Creek Township Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Leo and Johanna (Mrozek) Prozinski. He enlisted in the United State Navy on October 9, 1942 and was honorably discharged on December 8, 1945. He proudly served his country during World War II. He was united in marriage to Helen Harakel on July 3, 1946 in Flensburg, MN. Helen died April 25, 1963. Stanley lived in Little Falls, MN and worked at Hennepin Paper Mill as a plumber and steam fitter until 1966. In 1966, He moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked for Honeywell, Inc. until retiring in 1984. Stanley was united in marriage to Louise Levno on May 23, 1969 in St. Paul, MN. The couple retired and built their dream home on Rush Lake near Perham, MN in 1984. Stanley and Louise moved to Little Falls in 2003 due to declining health and resided here until his death. Stanley enjoyed all types of fishing, carpentry work and dancing. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls and the Little Falls VFW Post #1112. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Louise Prozinski of Little Falls, MN; children, Kathy Bursey (Jim) of Spring Lake Park, MN, James Prozinski (Debi) Columbus, MN; step-children, Diane Doty (Bill) of Spicer, MN, Donna Danlo (Dave) of Dent, MN, Bob Lunderby (Jodie) of Sydney, MT, daughters-in-law, Karen Lunderby of Sauk Rapids, MN, Roxie Lunderby of Watertown, MN; sister, Lorraine Kaufman (Norman) of Beaumont, WA. many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Johanna (Mrozek) Prozinski; first wife, Helen Harakel; daughter, Bonnie Setsvold; granddaughter, Emily Nelson; brothers, Walter Prozinski, Benny Prozinski, Harold Prozinski, Donny Prozinski; step-sons, Gary Lunderby and Bud Lunderby.
