Sr. DeSales Malinowski

Sister Mary DeSales (Pauline) Malinowski 96, died on Friday, November 25, 2011, at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls, Minn. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Convent on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. Friends may call at St. Francis Convent on Monday, November 28, 2011, from 4 - 8:30 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral on November 29, 2011. A wake service will be held at the Convent at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011. Sister Mary DeSales was born on April 21, 1915 in Superior, Wis. She was the youngest of nine children born to the late John and Elizabeth (Fronckiewicz) Malinowski. She was accepted as a Franciscan Sister of Little Falls, Minn., on August 12, 1933. She made first profession of vows on August 12, 1935, and final vows on August 12, 1938. She was a Franciscan Sister for 78 years. Sister DeSales was preceded in death by siblings: Raymond, Frank, Andrew, Hedwig, Edward, Victor, Sister Harold, OSB, Eau Claire, Wis., and Anna. She is survived by nieces and nephews, and her Franciscan Community. Donations to Franciscan Sisters Ministries preferred.
