Sophia Schwitalla, 93, of Prescott Valley, AZ, formerly of Little Falls, MN passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at her daughter's home in Prescott Valley, AZ. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, January 30th at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel) in Little Falls, MN, with Pastor Robert Frank officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29th at the funeral home. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Sophia Christina Pribbenow was born on August 29, 1914 in Bertha, Minnesota the daughter of Otto & Wilhemina (Bristlin) Pribbenow. She was united in marriage to Dallas Cramer in Motley, MN. The couple lived in Litchfield and Little Falls, MN. Dallas passed away on October 21, 1983 and Sophia continued living in Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Edward Schwitalla on July 13, 1985 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls. Sophia was a life member of the Little Falls V.F.W. Auxiliary. She also bowled on the Senior League, enjoyed fishing and volunteered at the Senior Center making donuts. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna (George) Hagen of Prescott Valley, AZ and Dalbert Cramer of Virginia Beach, VA; siblings, Willis (Kathy) Pribbenow of Gulfport, MS, Lydia (Cliff) Goodwater of Motley, MN and Florence (Bill) Berndt of Motley, MN; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto & Wilhemina (Bristlin) Pribbenow; husbands, Dallas Cramer (October 21, 1983) and Edward Schwitalla (April 2, 2007); sisters, Mable Thorn, Dorothy Beeson; brothers, John, Art, William and David Pribbenow and daughter-in-law, Lucille Cramer.
