Scott Armstrong, age 41, of Culdrum Township in Morrison County, MN, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 as the result of an work related accident. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Mark Innocenti officiating. Private interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Visitation will continue on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Scott was born on June 23, 1970 in Milaca, MN, to the late Lloyd & Kathryn (Lind) Armstrong. He attended school in Milaca and Royalton where he graduated from high school in 1988. He was united in marriage to Donna Adkins on July 29, 1989 at the Royalton Sportmans Club Park. The couple made their home in Little Falls and moved to a farm in Culdrum Township in 2002. Scott worked for Royal Rides & Recycling and Knife River where he was currently employed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, telling stories, playing in the woods and spending time with his family especially the trips they took together. Everyone seemed to know Scott and he said it was because he was a "Royalton boy". Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna of Culdrum Township; children, Scottie Armstrong of Royalton, Samantha "Sam" Armstrong of Brainerd, Jessie Armstrong of Culdrum Township, Kayla and Cheyene Armstrong at the farm home; siblings, Mary Reynolds of Minneapolis and a number of step and half brothers and sisters; mother-in-law, Linda Scepurek of Little Falls; a number of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and his beloved pets. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nellie Jean Lind; brother-in-law, Richard "Pops" Reynolds; father figure, Fred Schram and five nieces and nephews and his beloved pets.
