Scott "Scooter" Welter, 41 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Monday, March 22, 2010 at his home in Little Falls, MN. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. and one hour prior to the service at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, March 27th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Scott Allen Welter was born February 14, 1969 in Little Falls, MN to Donald and Helen (Doschka) Welter. He grew up in Little Falls and graduated from the Little Falls Community High School. Scott attended college in Brainerd, Staples and Hutchinson specializing in computers and robotics. He lived in Little Falls most of his life and until the time of his illness managed the Little Falls Theatre. Scott most recently was instrumental in developing the West Side Bar in Little Falls internet presence including their Facebook page. He enjoyed organizing and fundraising for different charities. Scott was most proud of his fundraising efforts for the Children's Miracle Network. Scott enjoyed deer hunting and watching sports, especially football and hockey. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He truly was a kid at heart. Scott is survived by his mother, Helen Welter of Little Falls, MN; sisters and brothers, Gary Norberg of Little Falls, MN, Tim (Londa) Welter of Little Falls, MN, Donald (Linda) Welter, Jr. of Roanoke, VA and Keith (Cindy) Welter of AZ; sisters, Sherry (Norby) Bollig of Little Falls, MN, Janice (Jaime) Kunkel of Little Falls, MN, Colleen Norberg of Little Falls, MN, Jeannie (Craig) Gaines of Little Falls, MN and Julie Erickson of Little Falls, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Welter; sister, Marilyn Blechinger and infant brother, Roger Norberg.
