Sandra J. Kuepers

Sandra Jean (Wedin) Kuepers, 63 year old resident of Upsala, MN died Saturday, August 15 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a 14 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at 12:00 P.M. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Upsala, MN with Pastor Trish Jorgenson officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 P.M. at the church in Upsala. Sandra was born June 22, 1946 at St. Michaels Hospital in Grand Forks, ND to the late John and Ida (Thiers) Wedin. She graduated in 1964 from Central High School in Grand Forks, ND. She attended college at UND in Grand Forks for one year and Mayville State in Mayville, ND for one year. In 1984, she attended Bemidji Vo-Tech for Medical Secretary. Sandra was united in marriage to Charles M. Kuepers on December 28, 1967 in Clinton, IL. The couple resided in the Upsala area. Sandra worked for 12 and half years at Fingerhut Business office in St. Cloud, MN. She worked for nine years as owner of Sandi's Cleaning, Inc working mainly with Kuepers Construction of the Brainerd Lakes Area, and some private homes. Sandra enjoyed watching NASCAR, Football and was also an avid reader. She loved traveling with her husband and playing with the grandchildren. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Upsala, MN where she was a Lay Reader and Usher. Sandra J. Kuepers is survived by her husband, Charles of Upsala, MN; Sean Kuepers and wife, Shelley, of Sartell, MN, Marc Kuepers and wife, Cindy, of Upsala, MN, Ryan Kuepers and wife, LeAnne, of Brainerd, MN; brother, Bob Wedin and wife, Phyllis, of Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Judy Barta and husband, Stan, of Michigan, ND and Joanne Eason and husband, Bob, of Osakis, MN; 3 grandchildren, Morgan John Kuepers, Kaylee Marie Kuepers and Nolan Ryan Kuepers. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Wedin; father and mother-in-law, Pete and Agnes Kuepers; brother-in-law, Gary Kuepers; great-nephew, Joshua Barta.
