Russell Rauland Miller

Russell R. Miller, age 55 of Pierz/Buckman, MN area passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 in Bayport, MN. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Lone Pine Cemetery in Morrill, MN. Russell R. Miller was born May 14, 1954 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late Rauland S. and Opal B. (Dray) Miller. He grew up in Morrill Township, Morrison County, MN. Russell attendede elementary school in Buckman, MN and graduated from Royalton High School with the Class of 1972. Following high school, Russell attended Brainerd Technical College in Auto Body Repair. He later worked for American Carnival of Clear Lake, MN, Harry Miller Construction, Franklin Manufacturing in St. Cloud, Rainbow Vacuum Cleaners as a salesperson and Arby's Foods. Russell's religion was very important to him. He enjoyed art, drawing, fishing, playing cards and visiting with family and friends. He attended Bethany Lutheran Church in Ramey and enjoyed singing in church. Russell is survived by his siblings, June Cross of Foley, MN, Bernice (George) Pazey of Rogers, AR, Beverly (Robert) Voigt of Sauk Rapids, MN, Vernon Miller of New Smyrna Beach, FL, William "Bill" (Lottie) Miller of Pierz, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rauland and Opal Miller and a brother-in-law, Malcolm Cross.
