NOTE SERVICE DAY / TIME CHANGE Rose Susan Czeck, age 94, of Royalton, MN passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at St. Otto's Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN with Fr. Laurn Virnig & Fr. Tom Czeck concelebrating. Burial will be at the St. Elizabeth Parish Cemetery in Brennyville. Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Royalton, Minnesota. Christian Mothers & Daughters of Isabella will pray the Rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 7:15 p.m. Visitation will also be at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Rose was born on August 11, 1912 to Isidore & Rose (Janski) Schlichting in Royalton, Minnesota. Rose was united in marriage to Michael Czeck in 1934 and from this union they had a family of 10 children. The family lived in the twin cities for 23 years. Then in 1957 moved to Foley and farmed near the Brennyville area. After Michael passed away in 1976, Rose moved to Royalton. Rose was very active in her church and was a religion instructor for 10 years at St. Elizabeth's Church. She was a member of Christian Mothers, Daughters of Isabella, St. Elizabeth's Choir and treasurer of the Senior Center for 10 years, Rose loved to sew, cook, garden and made quilts for all her children and grandchildren. Rose's great love of the outdoors provided many fishing stories through the years. Rose is survived by her sons: James (Joyce) Czeck of Shorewood, MN; Dr. David (Janey) Czeck of North St. Paul, MN; Henry (Charlene) Czeck of Foley, MN; Carl (Judy) Czeck of Wyoming, MN; Michael (Judy) Czeck Jr. of Cohasset, MN; daughters: Mary Ann (Roy) Jurek of Pierz, MN; Rosalee (Gary) Olson of Ramsey, MN; Annette Czeck of St. Cloud, MN; daughter-in-law: Nancy Czeck of St. Cloud, MN; 30 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters: Loretta Kroll of Little Falls, MN; Theresia Fussy of Royalton, MN; Evelyn Krystosek of Holdingford, MN; Regina Miller of Tocoma, WA; Bernice (Claude) Wollack of Duluth, MN; sister-in-laws: Mary Schlichting (Alfred) of Little Falls, MN; Mary Schlichting (Joseph) of Wisconsin and Lorraine Schlichting (Cyril) of Royalton, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Czeck Sr.; parents, Isidore & Rose Schlichting; son, Melvin; infant daughter, Rose Mary; grandson, Carl Czeck, Jr.; brothers, Alfred, Anthony, Joseph and Cyril & sisters, Isabelle & Margret. Casket Bearers will be a grandchild from each of Rose's Children.
