Rose Lashinski

Rose B. Lashinski, age 90 of Little Falls, MN passed away January 27, 2009, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 30, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 8-10 a.m. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, southeast chapel in Little Falls. Christian Mothers and the Daughters of Isabella will pray a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel followed by Parish Prayers at 6:00 p.m. Rose Barbara Lashinski was born August 13, 1918 to August and Barbara (Kedrowski) Kedrowski. She grew up in Pike Creek Township, Morrison County, MN and attended country school. Rose was united in marriage to Edward Lashinski on June 23, 1941, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple resided in Little Falls all their married life. Rose worked at St. Francis Convent, Falls Cafe, Tri-Cap and at Camp Ripley. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, quilting, playing cards, gardening, yard work and fishing with her grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary, Christian Mothers and the Daughters of Isabella. Rose is survived by sons, Edward (Sue) Lashinski, Jr. of Coon Rapids, MN, Gerald (Lucy) Lashinski of Tampa, FL, Richard (Jan) Lashinski of Omaha, NE, Anthony (Linda) Lashinski of Derby, KS, James (Janet) Lashinski of Andover, MN, Patrick (Mary Beth) Lashinski of Albuquerque, NM, Roger (Rena') Lashinski of Cold Spring, MN; daughters, Caroline (Mike) Lister of Merritt Island, FL and Mary Schneider (Richard) of Little Falls, MN; sister-in-law, Freida Kedrowski of Swanville, MN; 27 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren and four Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lashinski; parents, August & Barbara Kedrowski; sisters, Elizabeth Super and Lucille Koklok and brothers, Simon, John, Jake, Anthony, Peter and Joseph Kedrowski. Casket bearers are Bryan, Brent, Chad & Ryan Lashinski, Timothy & Thomas Schneider.
