Ronald Deering

Ronald Deering, age 61, of Cushing, MN, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013, at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls with military honors by Camp Ripley Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013,and one hour prior to the service on Friday all at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.

There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ronald was born on March 6, 1952 , in Little Falls, Minnesota the son of Sylvester & Ann (Matlock) Deering.He graduated from Little Falls High School, Class of 1970.He enlisted in the United States Army on July 15, 1970, and was honorably discharged on June 25, 1976.Ron attended St. Cloud Vo-Tech where he received a mechanics degree.He was employed at Camp Ripley as a mechanic for many years.Ron lived all of his life in the Randall and Cushing areas.He loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting.He was a life-time member of the Randall V.F.W.Even though Ron kept to himself, he was well aware of the weddings and birthdays and many activities taking place in the family. It was very important to him that he keep up on family life.Ron entered into Gods loving arms and died in peace.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Ann Deering of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Sharon (Glenn) Harvey of Oak Grove, MN, Carol (Harvey) Czech of Little Falls, MN, and Gordon Deering of Valley Center, KS; nephews, Bradley (Liz) Czech, Jonathan (Jenna) Czech, Stephen Harvey, Dominic Harvey; niece, Doreen Harvey; grand-nieces, Gabriella & Kathryn Czech; and grand-nephew, Brooks Czech.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Deering.
