Robert "Bob" Herold

Robert Bob Herold, age 70, of Buckman, MN, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015, at the Pierz Villa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Buckman with Fr. Kenneth Popp and Fr. Greg Poser concelebrating. Private interment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20th and 8:30 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21st ALL AT EMBLOM BRENNY FUNERAL SERVICE IN Pierz.

The Knights of Columbus, St. Isidore Council #3982, will pray the Office of the Dead at 7pm on Friday at the funeral home.

Robert Bob Joseph Herold was born on April 5, 1945, in Buckman Township, Morrison County, Minnesota the son of Raymond Florentine (Hoheisel) Herold. He grew up on a farm in Buckman Township and attended St. Michaels Catholic School in Buckman and graduated from Pierz Memorial High School in 1963. Following his schooling, he worked for Gottwalt Lumber. He was united in marriage to Marcy Popp in October 1965 and the couple had three daughters, Theresa, Stacy and Amy. They lived in Detroit, MI where Bob worked for General Motors. Bob returned to Minnesota in 1982 and farmed with his brother, Billy. He was united in marriage to Donna Poser on May 24, 1991. The couple purchased Tobys bar in 1998 and named it Herolds Saloon. They owned and operated the bar until October 2006. Bob then went to work for the City of Buckman where he was currently employed. He enjoyed gardening, mowing lawn, lawn care, playing cards, fishing, hunting, bowling, making wine and daily exercising with the girls. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Michaels Catholic Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna Herold of Buckman, MN; daughters, Theresa Rasche of Washington, MI, Stacy (Ric) Little of Ozark, AL and Amy (Eric) Kendall of Rochester, MI; siblings, Jerry (Linda) of Minneapolis, MN, Joey (Susie) of Pierz, Mary Marshik of Maple Grove, MN, Roseann (Russ) Becker of Plymouth, MN, Steve of Ham Lake, Lucy (George) Nelson of Crystal, MN, Rick (Shirley) of Buckman, Ronny (Jo) of Pierz, MN, Kurt (Mary) of Little Falls, MN and Bill (Violet) of Buckman, MN; grandchildren, Brittni, Devon and Sydney Rasche, Brandon, Madelyne, Raegin and Anderson Little and Abigail and Evan Kendall.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Florentine; brother, Mike; sister, Barbara; nephew David Herold; father-in-law, Herman Poser and brothers-in-law, Hank Marshik and Gary Sadlovsky.
