Richard Czech

Richard "Butch" G. Czech, age 64 of Little Falls, MN, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. A Private Family Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 31st at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Richard "Butch" G. Czech was born December 4, 1944 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late George and Christine (Auer) Czech. He attended country school in District 1190. He grew up and lived with his parents on the family farm in Pike Creek Township, Morrison County, MN. In 2007, Richard "Butch" became a resident of the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls residing there until his death. He worked at Crestliner Boats in Little Falls on the assembly line and at Lindbergh State Park as a groundskeeper. Butch enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, playing cards, Chess and crafts. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers & sisters, George (LaVon) Czech of Little Falls, MN, Betty Sherry of Lastrup, MN, Patricia Boser of Lastrup, MN, Rosie Filsmyer & friend, Jim Solorz, of Elmdale, MN and Jerry (Natalie) Czech of Little Falls, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Christine Czech, and brothers-in-law, Duane Sherry, Ken Boser and Jack Filsmyer. Casket Bearers are Thomas Czech, Tim Czech, Arnie Wieczorek, Chad Boser, Cyle Filsmyer and Kate Houle.
