Reynold Hilgendorf

Reynold Hilgendorf, age 99, of Mesa, Arizona died Saturday, July 19th at Micasa Care Center in Mesa, AZ.

A private graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Holy Family Cemetery in Belle Paririe Township north of Little Falls.

Reynold Louis Hilgendorf was born on April 28, 1915, in Buh Township, Morrison County, Minnesota the son of Albert F. & Mary (Annen) Hilgendorf.He was united in marriage to Irene St. Onge on June 21, 1938 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN.The couple purchased a farm in Ripley Township in 1946 and farmed until 1967 when they moved to Arizona where he resided at the time of his death.Reynold was a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie and St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two sisters.

Reynold is survived by nieces and nephews, Roseine (Don) Leuch of Baxter, MN, Eleanor Peters of Fort Ripley, MN, Mary Jane (Marvin) Ausland of Brainerd, MN, Frank Filosi of Burke, VA, Audrey (Dale) Demarais of Buffalo, MN, Diana Nicholas of Baxter, MN, and cousins and cousins-in-law.
