Regina Ann (Posch) Masog, 88 year old resident of Little Falls, MN. Died Sunday, January 20 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 24 at 10:30 A. M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Raymond Donnay officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with military rites conducted by the Little Falls American Legion Post #46. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service West Chapel and from 9-10 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Rosary will be said at 5:30 followed by parish prayers at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Regina was born October 7, 1919 in Swan River Township, Morrison County to the late Lawrence and Regina (Smuda) Posch. She attended school in Swan River Township. She enlisted in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps during World War II. She was united in marriage to Joseph Masog, Sr. on September 15, 1943 in New York City, New York. Their son Joseph Masog Jr. was born in Brooklyn, New York. The couple moved back to Little Falls, MN after World War II. Regina worked at Bell's Cafe, Munsingwear, and helped her husband with their Refrigeration Business. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Christian Mother's, American Legion Post #46, DAV Auxiliary Life Member. Regina enjoyed gardening, cooking, making sausage, coffee cakes and popcorn. She enjoyed visiting with relatives and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Regina is survived by her son, Joseph Masog, Jr and wife, Dorothy, of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Rick Masog and wife, Kari, Jackie Retka and husband, Ken and Joe Masog all of Little Falls, MN;great-grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan and Christy Masog, Nick and Erin Retka all of Little Falls, MN;sister, Florence Harakel of Little Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Regina (Smuda) Posch; husband, Joseph Masog Sr.; infant son; brother, Sylvester Posch; sisters, Sadie Zoren, Esther Czech, Gertrude Posch and Theresa Czech. Casket Bearers will be:Ronald Czech, Donald Czech, Jerome Czech, Denny Johnson, Dick Johnson, Dennis Harakel. Arrangements are with the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service West Chapel of Little Falls, MN. 1-320-632-4393.
