Randy Rossum

Randy Rossum 47, year old resident of Cushing, MN died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 25 near Cushing, MN. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 28 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing, MN with Rev. Jean Megorden officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery north of Randall, MN. Friends may gather from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church on Saturday. Randy Rossum was born October 30, 1964 in Little Falls, MN to Robert and Esther (Zintek) Rossum. He attended school in Little Falls, MN, graduating in 1983. He attended Wadena Technical Institute and majored in Telephone Service. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Bollig on September 29, 1990 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Randall, MN. The couple resided in Randall, MN from 1990 until 2003. In 2003, they moved to their current home in Cushing, MN, where together they raised their two beautiful daughters Shelby and Shania. He worked for Kaiser Trucking in Little Falls for a few years. Randy then went to work for Hengel Construction in Pillager, MN from July 1990 until February 1999 in maintenance and as a heavy equipment operator. February, 1999, he went to work for Central Minnesota Ethanol Co-Op in Little Falls, MN, where he was presently employed. He has been a gun safety instructor for the past four years. Ballsy will be remembered by his friends for pulling practical jokes and loving to laugh. He enjoyed deer hunting, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and camping. Randy was a devoted husband and father to his two daughters Shelby and Shania. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kimberly of Cushing, MN; daughters, Shelby Rossum and Shania Rossum at home; sisters, Judy (Lee) Johnson of Pillager, MN, Debbie (Robert) Helmerick of Randall, MN, Barb (Jerry) Petersen of Little Falls, MN; aunt and uncle, Eddie (Donna) Zintek of St. Cloud, MN; nieces and nephews, Jill Johnson, Scott Johnson, Todd Helmerick, Sara (Thomas) Borash and Jeremy (Sam) Peterson; the Zintek cousins and Christiansen cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Esther Rossum; aunts, Tillie Christiansen and Ida Lindhorst and an uncle, Oscar Rossum. Casket Bearers will be: Gary Marx, Rob Kersting, Clayton Sanders, Ricky Hines, Todd Kedrowski, Brian Johnson. In lieu of flowers memorial are preferred.
