Pauline Weiss, 86, of Harding, MN passed away on May 20, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, with Fr. Roger Thoennes offiiating. Visitation will be on will be Wednesday from 4:00 a" 8:00 p.m. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN. Rosary Sodality will pray the Rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will also be on Thursday at 10:00 a" 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. Pauline was born on March 18, 1921 in Little Falls, Minnesota to August & Mary (Stanek) Kowalczyk. Pauline was united in marriage to Richard Weiss on August 22, 1939 in Harding, Minnesota. She farmed and raised her family on their family farm. Pauline loved playing cards, bowling, crocheting, quilting, her grandchildren and family holiday celebrations. She was a member of the Holy Cross Quilting Circle. Pauline is survived by her husband, Richard Weiss of Harding, MN; daughters, Grace (Joseph) Dembouski of Harding, MN, Marlene (George) Wahl of Golden Valley, MN; brother, Raymond (Leona) Kowalczyk of St. Paul, MN, sisters, Eleanor Chmielewski of Little Falls, MN, Irene Hansmann of Brainerd, MN; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Maleski; brothers, Joe, Frank, Adolph and Edward Kowalczyk. Casket Bearers will be Kevin Dembouski, Jeff Dembouski, Steve Barthelemy, Bryan Bednarek, Keith Anderson & Ervin Maleski.
