Patrick Joseph Zapzalka

Patrick Zapzalka, 57, a resident of Little Falls, MN, died Saturday, March 8 at his home in Little Falls, MN.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN, with Father John Odero officiating. The burial will be held at later date.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Thursday at the church.

Patrick Joseph Zapzalka was born July 15, 1956 in Little Falls, MN, to the late Ambrose and Adeline (Kusterman) Zapzalka.He attended Little Falls Community High School graduating with the class of 1974.He attended the St. Cloud Vocational School for two years and received a diploma in Engineering. Patrick worked for several years for Granite Electronics in St. Cloud, MN. Patrick enjoyed fishing, woodworking and especially making clocks and shelving for his family and friends.He treasured the Memorial Day camping trips with his siblings and family. While living in Carlton, MN, he enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with his friend, Larry. Patrick moved back to Little Falls, MN, in October 2013 and resided there until the time of his death.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Dennis (Janice) Zapzalka of Little Falls, MN, Jeanette DeZurik of Little Falls, MN; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Richard Opatz of Little Falls, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Adeline Zapzalka; children, Katie and Jarrod Zapzalka; siblings, Robert Zapzalka, Jerry Zapzalka and Marie Opatz.
