Patricia "Pat" Meierhofer

Patricia Pat A. Meierhofer, age 78, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Jeremy Ploof officiating.Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 21st at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.

Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, September 22nd from 10:00 11:00 a.m.

Patricia Pat Ann Zwilling was born on October 21, 1935 in Little Falls, Minnesota the daughter of Charles and Lidwina (Goblirsch) Zwilling.She grew up in Swanville, and graduated from Swanville High School with the Class of 1952.Following her schooling, Pat worked in Minneapolis for four years.She returned to Little Falls and worked at the Broadway Clinic for five years.She met and was united in marriage to Wilfred Wil Meierhofer on November 24, 1960.The couple moved to Browerville, then to Wadena where Pat worked various jobs and then to Staples where she worked for three years at the Staples Vo-Tech School.Pat & Wil moved back to Little Falls and worked in the real estate business for ten years.Wil died November 10, 1990, and Pat continued living in Little Falls.She worked for St. Marys Catholic Parish from 1986 to 1994.In 1994, she moved to St. Stephen, MN, where she worked for St. Stephens Parish retiring in 2002.Following her retirement, Pat moved to Sartell for several years and in 2009 moved back to Little Falls where she resided at the time of her death.Pat enjoyed spending winters in Laguna Vista, TX, needlework, quilting and playing cards especially, bridge.She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls and the Christian Mothers.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Lisa (Tom) Hanowski of Little Falls, MN, Gregg Meierhofer of Brainerd, MN, Jim (Robyn Young) Meierhofer of Little Falls, MN and Kristi (Chad) Swisher of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Mark and Michael Hanowski, Andrew Meierhofer, Rachel, Cole and Jenna Swisher and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lidwina Zwilling and her husband, Wil.
