Myron W. Fafara, age 56, of Little Falls, MN, formerly of Flensburg, passed away Monday, August 2, 2009 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with visitation two hours prior to the service. A private interment will be held at a later date. Myron Walter Fafara was born April 29, 1954 in Little Falls, MN, the son of Walter & Lorraine (Fietek) Fafara. He grew up on a farm west of Flensburg. He graduated from Little Falls High School, Class of 1972. He then went to St. Cloud Technical College and Central Lakes College in Brainerd where took up counseling course work. He was united in marriage to Risa Christine Kaste on June 14, 1993 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Dalton, MN. The couple later divorced. Myron's working career included working the oil fields in Montana and Dickinson, ND. He later went to work at Creameries Blending and Falls Fabricating in Little Falls. Myron's hobbies and interest included cooking, fishing, cars, gardening, raising flowers and especially spending time with his family and friends. Myron was active in the Meth Task Force, Alcoholic Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael, Gregory, Victoria and step-son Philip; mother, Lorraine; siblings, Faye and husband Jerry and Gary and wife Suekye and nieces, Angela and Laura. Myron was preceded in death by his father, Walter.
