Monica Mrozek

Monica Mrozek, age 98, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Tim Sumner officiating.Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Flensburg, MN.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.

Monica Rose Dolney was born on May 4, 1916 in Grenville, South Dakota to the late Joseph and Rosalia (Ewalt) Dolney.She was united in marriage to Alexander J. Mrozek on November 10, 1936 in Greenbush, MN.Following their marriage, the couple farmed in Flensburg area until their retirement when they moved into the town of Flensburg.Following the death of her husband in 1981, Monica continued living in Flensburg until 1992 when she moved to Little Falls.She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flesnburg and was an active member of the Rosary Sodality, funeral committee and the Little Falls DAV.Monica enjoyed quilting, playing cards, playing dice, and entertaining people for coffee and famous prune biscuits.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elizabeth Perzinski of Riceville, IA, Philip (Darlene) Mrozek of Little Falls, MN, Bernie (Duane) Miller of Prescott, AZ, Ludger Mrozek of Great Falls, MT, Rosie Paul of St. Cloud, MN, Elphege (Laura) Mrozek of Brainerd, MN, Ambrose Mrozek of Little Falls, MN, Mary (Blase) Kalina of Lonsdale, MN, Raphael (Betty) Mrozek of Albany, MN, and Annie Mrozek of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Ted (Terri) Dolney of Mulin, OR, and Della Zoren of Shelton, WA; sister-in-law, Celia Dolney of Little Falls, MN; 38 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rosalia (Ewalt) Dolney; husband, Alexander Mrozek; siblings, Anton Dolney, Josie Dolney, Mary Dolney, Connie McFarlane, Tassie Prozinski, Betty Olson, Phil Dolney, Esther Adamski, Cecelia Adamski; and daughter-in-law, Sue Mrozek.
