Michael Newman

Michael “Mike” Newman, 68-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, November 7 at the St Cloud Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, from 4:00-7:00pm at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. A prayer service will be held at 6:00pm Tuesday evening. Mike was born on June 17, 1955, in Little Falls to the late Myron and Irene (Wilczek) Newman. Mike grew up in Little Falls and graduated with the class of 1973. He worked in construction before he took over the family farm. In addition to farming, he also enjoyed drag racing at BIR, going to Arizona in the winters to race his 1973 Plymouth Duster, hunting, and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his boys, Chad (Amber) Newman and Jayd (Julie) Newman both of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Nora, Stella, and Lauren Newman; sister, Kim (Russell)Muehlbauer of Mankato, MN; niece and nephew, Jeni (Tony) Meixner, Joe Muehlbauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Irene Newman and his brother Mark Newman
