Mary "Moogie" Czech, 75 year old resident of Royalton, MN, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 9 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN with Father Michael Kellog officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the church and from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the church on Monday. Parish prayers will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at the church. Mary "Moogie" Czech was born August 5, 1936 in Richmond, MN to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Kline) Holdvogt. She attended school in Royalton, MN and graduated with the class of 1954. She was united in marriage to Richard Czech on May 18, 1957 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN. The couple made their home in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County, MN. Throughout her life, Mary worked for Prudential Insurance, Servo Mation and Onans Corp. Mary enjoyed bowling, fishing, cooking, gambling and a good joke. She treasured her time spent with family and friends. Mary was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard Czech of Royalton, MN; children, Rick (Jody) Czech of Maple Grove, MN, Sue (Wayne) Emly of Forest Lake, MN; siblings, Arley Erikson of Crystal, MN, Ruth Ann (Peter) Peterick of Tennessee, Evelyn (Mervin) Morgan of California and Mike Holdvogt of Maple Grove, MN; grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Brian, Jonathan and Michelle Czech, Nathan and Jenny Dahl, Taylor and Cole Emly; great-grandchild, Emma Dahl.
