Mary Ann Wilson, 77 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 5 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Friends may gather from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Mary Ann Opatz was born August 22, 1934 to the late Philip and Theresa Ann (Heitzman) Opatz. She attended school in Holdingford, MN. Mary Ann moved to California where she lived for several years. She returned to Minnesota and moved to Little Falls, MN where she lived for several years. Mary Ann was a cook for a few years at the Red Bull Bar in Little Falls, MN. She was a member of the Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending the American Legion fish fries. Mary Ann was currently living at the Buckman Building in Little Falls, where she was an active volunteer. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, gardening and playing cards. Mary Ann treasured her time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Mary Ann will be remembered by her children, Terry Pederson of Longview, Texas, Joyce (Tom) Keske of Minog, WI, Linda Gutierrez of Blaine, MN; siblings, George (Adella) Opatz of Rice, MN, Edward (Elaine) of Sartell, MN, William (Shirley) Opatz of Avon, MN, Floyd Opatz of Albany, MN, Jack (Jane) Opatz of St. Wendell, MN, Eugene (Ruth) Opatz of Buffalo, MN, Rita Venske of Randall, MN, Judy Rossel of St. Cloud, MN, Darlene Bursey of Champlin, MN; grandchildren, Brittany Pederson, Christopher Wilson, Michael Smith, Theresa Gatten, Brian Rodriquez and Kelly Ziesmer and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Theresa Opatz; daughter, Theresa Pederson; siblings, Lorraine Hoffman, Dolores Newcomb and LeRoy Opatz. Casket Bearers will be: Dan Venske, Ambrose Opatz, Eddie Jo Opatz, Timothy Optaz, Brian Opatz, Scott Opatz. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Jack Russel, Jason Opatz, Mark Opatz, Ross Bursey.
