Mark Booth

Mark Booth, 53 year old resident of Royalton, MN, died Sunday, June 1 at his home in Royalton, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 5 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN, with Father John Odero officiating. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN. A parish prayer will be said at 7:00 P.M.

Mark Henry Booth was born September 4, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN to Albert and Dolores (Anderlie) Booth. He attended school in Royalton, MN and graduated with the class of 1978.After high school, Mark went to work for Reis Lumber in Bowlus, MN.Mark also worked for Electrolux, St. Cloud Restaurant Supply, the Grand Casino Mille Lacs and most recently, at Astech.He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Gophers and Minnesota Wild hockey games and the Minnesota Twins as well as, grilling, cooking, fishing, hunting, watching the birds and other wild life and attending plays at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.He loved his time spent with his two grandchildren, Devon and Madelyn.

Left to cherish Marks memory are his daughter, Carla (Russ) Engebretson of Holdingford, MN; his son, Galen of Holdingford, MN; two grandchildren, Devon & Madelyn Engebretson of Holdingford, MN; mother, Dolores Booth of Royalton, MN;brother, Wayne (Karen) Booth of Elk River, MN; sisters, Cindy (Wayne) Johannes of Russellville, MO, Patty Booth of Albany, MN, Barb Prokott of St. Michael, MN and Becky (Loren) Mrosla of Bowlus, MN; 21 nieces and nephews; special friend, Rita Zilka of Little Falls, MN.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Albert Booth (March 6, 1987) and his sister, Nancy Posch (September 19, 2013).
