Marilyn Adams

Marilyn J. Adams, age 56, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 7th and 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8th all at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Marilyn was born on May 2, 1956 in Pleasanton, CA, the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Eisel) Rudek. She attended school in various places do to her father's military service and eventually moved back to Little Falls where her parents grew up. She was united in marriage to Michael Adams on July 30, 1977, in Little Falls. The couple made their home in Brainerd from 1979 to 2000 when they moved to Little Falls. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, taking care of her dog, Toby, and spending time with her children. Marilyn's main job was being a home maker and raising her family. She did also work at one of the resorts near Brainerd, at the Uptown Deli in Brainerd, worked at Bob's Cleaning Service and at Zircom in Merrifield. Her family will always remember her as a loving mother and devoted wife. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael of Little Falls; children, Angela (Mark) Stange of Onalaska, WI, Stephen (Jessica) Adams of Brainerd, MN; mother, Marilyn Rudek-Kirschbaum of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Dawn "Michelle" Meyer of Little Falls, MN, Mary (Daniel) Dickmann of Freedhem, MN, twin sister, Marla (David) Noyes of Little Falls, MN, Mark (Kathy) Rudek of Dresser, WI, Marya (Randy) Albrecht of Little Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Rudek; brothers, Jon Rudek and Michael Rudek.
