Marie Sanderson

Marie Dianna Sanderson, 67 year old resident of Pequot Lakes died Monday, November 20 at her home in Pequot Lakes. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 27 from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service. The burial will be in Darling Cemetery near Little Falls.

Marie Dianna Schlichting was born December 4, 1949 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota to the late Arthur and Angeline (Kliber) Schlichting. She graduated from high school in Little Falls and attended Vocational School for four years. Marie was a member of National Guard for 10 years as a Medic. She treasured her time spent with her family especially, her grandchildren.

She will be forever remembered by her daughter, Janelle (Shawn) Fitch; daughter-in-law, Kristi Jansen; grandchildren, Chanel (Nathan) Gangestad, Tate Fitch, Seth Fitch, Brigg Zimmerman and Madison Jansen.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brent Sanderson in 2003 and grandmother, Agnes Kliber.
