Marguerite Anderson-Johanningmeier

Marguerite Anderson-Johanningmeier, age 63, of Cushing, MN, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at her home.

At Marguerite's request, no services will be held.

Marguerite Lynn Anderson was born on February 8, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Melvin & Rhoda (Bergo) Anderson.She attended Brainerd Community College and graduated with her degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University.Marguerite was employed in the Eagle Valley School District as a social worker for the school.She also worked as the homeless coordinator in the Fresh Water School District. She retired in 2013.She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and grandchildren, cooking and hosting holiday dinners.She had a special place in her heart for her pets.She especially had a love for her family and cared deeply for people, wanting to assist them in any way possible.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amy Anderson, Katie Anderson and Julia Anderson all of Cushing; grandchildren, Isaiah Anderson, Brayden Hughson, and Evelyn Hughson; brother, Donald Anderson of Apple Valley.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister.
