Margaret Waletski

Margaret Waletski, 82, of Bowlus, MN passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 in Bowlus, MN Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February, 27, 2008 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN with Father Dale Ettel officiating. Burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery in Bowlus. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, February 26th and from 9 to 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 27th at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. The Rosary Society will pray the rosary at 4:30 P.M. followed by parish prayers at 6 P.M. Tuesday evening at the church. Margaret Mary Waletski was born June 10, 1925 in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County, MN to the late William and Mary (Masog) Fussy. She attended School District #59. She was united in marriage to Delmar "Butch" Waletski on May 24, 1948 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN. Margaret and Butch established their first home on a farm purchased on May 25, 1948. In 1955, Margaret and Butch became the proprietors of a bar in Bowlus called "Butch's Place". She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. Margaret enjoyed being involved with friends and family, making quilts, gardening, making horseradish, baking and making donuts, spending time outside enjoying nature, picking mushrooms and apples, playing bingo and going to the casino. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Suzanne (significant other, Allen Mersy) Waletski and Doris (Timothy) Ruley; brother Theophil (Helen) Fussy; and sister, Sally Braidy; five grandchildren, Wade (Debra) Wittwer, Brent (Chris) Wittwer, Brandellynn (Joshua) Nelson, Benjamin (Lana) Ruley and Kathleen (Adam) Kordiak; 11 great-grandchildren, Logan, Cody, Joshua, Benjamin, Mary, Lukas, Darrell, Darren, Eleanor, Tytus and Lief. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar "Butch" Waletski; parents, William and Mary (Masog) Fussy; brothers, Joseph Fussy, Ralph Fussy and Roman Fussy; sisters, Dorothy Swanson and Emily Bendnar, granddaughter, Stacy Jo Wittwer.
