Margaret 'Maggie' Marie Meyer

Margaret Marie (Gasperlin) Meyer was born July 5, 1930 to Michael and Barbara (Rademacher) Gasperlin in Krain Township, MN. She was raised in Albany, MN and was united in marriage to Frederick "Fritz" Meyer on August 28, 1956 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany, MN. Fritz and Margaret lived in Pierz and raised seven children. Margaret worked at St. Gabriel's Hospital, Larson Boats and Crestliner Boats until she retired. Margaret was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN and was a Christian Mother. She enjoyed buying gifts for and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed having coffee with her friends and loved helping others. Despite all the hardships Margaret faced, she never lost faith in God and kept her great sense of humor and enjoyed giving and receiving hugs and kisses. Margaret is survived by three sons and two daughters: Jeff and Bonnie (Herold) Meyer of Princeton, MN, Joy and Bill Leidenfrost of Pierz, MN, Lisa and Pat Blondell of Sartell, MN, Larry and Chris (Fletcher) Meyer of Northglenn, CO and Danny and Sandy (Block) Meyer of Hillman, MN; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Francis Sauerer and Theresa Gasperlin of Albany, MN, Marie Pitzen of St. Paul, MN; brothers, Larry Gasperlin of Alexandria, MN, Julian "Curly" Gasperlin of East Grand Forks, MN; sister-in-law, Rita Gasperlin of Albany, MN. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fritz; sons, Scott and Nick Meyer; brothers, Joseph and Jerry Gasperlin and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
