Marcella Agnes Heinz

Marcella Heinz, age 79, of Little Falls, MN passed away January 26, 2015, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held at church one hour prior to the service.

Marcella Agnes Matlock was born on January 14, 1936, in Platte Township, Morrison County, Minnesota the daughter of Joseph Matlock, Jr. and Susan (Dircks) Matlock.She grew up on a farm in Platte Township and attended country school.She was united in marriage to Clifford Heinz on May 5, 1954, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding.The couple made their home in the Harding area and later moved to Little Falls where they raised their family.Marcella enjoyed flower gardening, playing cards, fishing, cooking, and visits with family and friends.She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerome (Karen Plumski) Heinz of Little Falls, MN, Kathy Driscoll of Blaine, MN, Dennis Heinz of Jacksonville, FL, Jeanette (Doug) Rahn of Cushing, MN, and Betty Heinz of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Caroline Zak of Little Falls, MN, Dorothy (Ray) Banick of Little Falls, MN, Bernice (Richard) Rutten of Sauk Rapids, MN, Eleanor Emery of St. Joseph, MN, Shirley Schommer of Elk River, MN; sister-in-law, Bonnie Matlock of Pierz, MN; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford; son, Gust; daughter, Linda Smith; siblings, Raymond Matlock, Louise Matlock and Josephine Matlock; and grandchildren, Jimmy Rahn and Amanda Rahn.
