Lucy Ann Jacobson

Lucy Jacobson, age 52, of Park Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 in Fargo, ND. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at Lakeview Community Church north of Hillman, MN. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Private interment will be at a later date. Lucy Ann Henry was born on September 2, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Donald Henry & Yvonne (Probasco) Faust. As a child the family moved to the Hillman area. Lucy graduated from Onamia High School, Class of 1977. Following high school, she attended college in Brainerd graduating with a nursing degree. During her marriage to John Hayes, they had three children, Angel, Crissy and Gerald. She was later united in marriage to Dr. Dennis Jacobson on December 27, 1989. The couple currently resided in Park Rapids. Lucy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, and taking care of her five dogs. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis Jacobson of Park Rapids, MN; children, Angelena (Henry) Blattner and their children, Blake and Paige all of Albany, MN; Cristena (Timothy) Piltz and their children, Ariana and Gunner all of Fayetteville, NC and Gerald (Michelle) Hayes and their children, Gavin and Levi all of Nevis, MN; mother, Bonnie "Yvonne" Faust of Hillman, MN; father, Donald Henry of Columbia Heights, MN; siblings, Ellen (Paul) Nieken of Hillman, MN, Jeff Henry of Las Vegas, NV, Vicki (Lester) Nieken of Deerwood, MN, Dianne Holmquist of Hillman, MN, Bonnie Mae (James) Miers of Stanchfield, MN, Jean (George) Esbensen of Eden Prairie, MN, Rene (Chris) Athman of Onamia, MN, and Mike Henry of Canton, OH, and many nieces and nephews. Lucy was preceded in death by brother, Donald "Donnie Boy" Henry and her grandparents.
