Lucille A. Wimmer, age 82, of Pierz, MN, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN, with Fr. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN. There will be a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 6:30 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Office of the Dead at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday at the funeral home from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Lucille Ann Wielinski was born on November 24, 1928 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late Joseph & Cecelia (Lepinski) Wielinski. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Little Falls High School, graduating with the Class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Leonard Wimmer on July 24, 1946 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple made their home in East Graham Township in Benton County where they lived and farmed for more than 25 years. In 1970, the couple moved to the Pierz/Genola area. Lucille worked at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Morrill, MN and at Healy High School in Pierz, MN. She enjoyed painting, embroidery, bowling, cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz and the Christian Mothers. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry (Linda) Wimmer of Clearwater, MN, Patricia (Gerald) Poster of Pierz, MN, and Mary Jo Wimmer (Greg Tuttle) of Grand Rapids, MN, and Thomas (Brenda) Wimmer of Lakeville, MN; siblings, Genie Kessler (Bob Perry) of Long Beach, CA, Margie "Maggie" Plunkett of Port Orchard, WA, and Joe (Margaret) Wielinski of Little Falls, MN; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Cecelia (Lepinski) Wielinski; husband, Leonard Wimmer (January 12, 2011) and sister, Barbara Szakasits. Casket Bearers will be Jason Wimmer, Joshua Wimmer, Scott Poster, Jed Poster, Micah Tuttle, Joel Tuttle, Joseph Wimmer and Johnathan Wimmer.
