Louise Janski, 86 year old resident of Buckman, MN died Monday, March 14 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 19 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 18 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN and from 9:00-10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church. The Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 7:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Louise Helen Kurowski was born December 28, 1924 in Pike Creek Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Joseph and Rose (Peka) Kurowski. She grew up in Pike Creek Township, Morrison County and attended country school. She was united in marriage to Ambrose John Janski on June 1, 1953 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. The couple made their home in Buckman, MN for 57 years. Louise was a homemaker raising, the couples 7 children. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crosswords. Louise was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN and was active with the Catholic Aid. Cherishing her memory are her husband of 57 years, Ambrose Janski of Buckman, MN; children, Lawrence (Judy) Janski of South St. Paul, MN, Donald Janski of Buckman, MN, James Janski of Buckman, MN, Susan (Wayne) Schmidtbauer of Arlington, MN, Katherine Miller of Mesquite, TX, Kathleen (William) Schuett of Little Falls, MN, Theresa (Mark) Tillmann of Elk River, MN; siblings, Edward Kurowski and friend, Bernice of Morris, MN, Raymond (Florence) Kurowski of Bowlus, MN, Jeanette (Gary) Garlock of Little Falls, MN; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose Kurowski; sister, Carole Johnson; grandsons, George Miller Jr. and Joshua Miller.
