Louise "Lou" Ginter Louise "Lou" Ginter, 95 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Thursday, July 7 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be held in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday at the church. Memorials Preferred to St. Otto's Care Center. Louise Barbara Prozinski was born April 29, 1916 in Little Falls, MN to the late Paul and Stella Prozinski. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Little Falls High School. After graduation, she worked in the Dime Store and the Red Owl Store. She was united in marriage to Leonard J. Ginter of October 6, 1936 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Churhc in Little Falls, MN. Together the couple raised their two children, Jim and Barbara. Len and Lou owned and operated the Silver Treat Tavern in Little Falls, MN for 35 years. Lou also worked in a dress shop and the Lincoln Elementary School office until retiring in 1982. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she was active with the Christian Mothers, Choir, Daughters of Isabella, Catholic Charities Board. She also belonged to the senior center Golden Tones Choral Group. Lou enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading, playing cards, fishing, bowling, cooking, and volunteering at nursing homes and elections. She treasured her time spent with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her son, James (Jeanette) Ginter of Green Bay, Wisconsin and her daughter, Barbara Erickson of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Todd Erickson, Cari Anthony, Troy Erickson, Aaron Ginter, Jeremy Ginter and Amber Marcell; great-grandchildren, Tony Erickson, Christopher Erickson, Austyn Ginter, Isaac Ginter, Madysen Marcell and Jonah Anthony. Casket Bears will be her grandchildren, Todd Erickson, Troy Erickson, Aaron Ginter, Jeremy Ginter and great-grandchildren, Tony Erickson and Christopher Erickson. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leonard; five sisters and one brother.
