Louise M. Arnold, 73 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Friday, January 21 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be held at a later time. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Louise Mary Tiemann was born January 16, 1938 in Little Falls, MN to the late Henry and Mary (Sauer) Tiemann. She attended school in Royalton, MN graduating in 1956. She was united in marriage to Ken Arnold on January 19, 1957 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN. The couple lived in Norman, OK, Jacksonville, FL, Norfolk, VA and Fairbanks, AK. They later divorced. Louise worked for Pueringer Foods, Hennepin Paper Mill, she also managed the Royalton American Legion and owned and operated The Lunch Wagon. She also worked for Jack Frost Poultry Barn, in addition to being a fulltime homemaker. She was very athletic in high school where she participated in cheerleading and Majorettes. In 1964 and 1965, she was a member of the state champion softball team for the state of Alaska. She organized several softball and volleyball leagues in Royalton, MN. Louise enjoyed making woodcarving crafts, jewelry, birdhouses and drawings. She was a former member of the Royalton American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Club. Louise loved spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jack Arnold of Walker, MN, Thomas (Deborah) Arnold of Fort Meyers, FL, Chris Herda of St. Joseph, MN, Kelly (John) Theis of Little Falls, MN; siblings, John (Ann Mae)Tiemann of Sauk Rapids, MN, Rod (Margo) Tiemann of Royalton, MN, Paul Tiemann of Little Falls, MN and Dorothy (Phil) Sjoberg of Little Falls, MN. eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary (Sauer) Tiemann; husband, Kenneth Arnold; brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Audrey Tiemann.
