Louise Albenia Schroeml, the daughter of Andrew and Julia (Brisk) Schroeml, was born on February 22, 1920 in Pulaski Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Ervin Schubert on February 8, 1941 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN. The couple made their home on a farm in Platte Lake Township where they raised their family. Louise was a hard working homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, making coffee cakes, quilting, gardening, flowers, driving horses and spending time with her family. She had a strong faith that she passed on to each one of her children and grandchildren-it was not uncommon for Louise to pray the Rosary when she got in to a vehicle to drive somewhere. She was a very forgiving person who never complained and was friendly to everyone. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality in Harding. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ervin of Pierz, MN; children, Dave (Beverly) Schubert of Brainerd, MN, Eddie (Janice) Schubert of Pierz, MN, Gary (Shari) Schubert of Waikoloa, HI; Alvin Schubert of Eagle River, AK and Tim Schubert of Pierz, MN; sister-in-law, Stephanie Schubert of Pierz, MN; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Alfred, Edward and Leonard Schroeml.
