Louis Zilka Louis Zilka, 89 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Wednesday at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 14 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service South East Chapel and from 9-10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Christian Mothers will pray the rosary at 4:30 PM followed by parish prayers at 6:30 PM on Monday evening at the funeral home. Louis was born March 9, 1920 to Leo and Dorothy (Knopik) Zilka in Culdrum Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Doreen Adamski on October 7, 1947 in Sacred Heart Church in Flensburg, Minnesota. Louis lived and worked on the family home farm until 1982 when the family moved to Little Falls. Louis loved to garden, play cards, do word find puzzles, mow the lawn and dig dandelions and hunt squirrels. Louis is survived by his wife Doreen of Little Falls, MN; children, Bernadine Leikvoll of Little Falls, Lawrence "Butch" Zilka and wife, Carol, of Motley, MN, Barbara Duchemin of Haverhill, MA, Anita Eggerth and husband, Jim, of Grey Eagle, MN, Daniel Zilka and wife, Rhonda, of Randall, MN and Janet Mudge and husband, Darryl, of Bemidji, MN; siblings, Br. Placid Zilka of Dubuque, IA, Dorothy Pierzina and husband, Ernest, of Little Falls, MN,Sr. Serena Zilka of St. Paul, MN and Mary Rose Weiland of Hoffman, MN. 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Leo Zilka; siblings, Sammy, Albert, Bernard, Benny, Leonard and Stanley "Larry", Emily Gradin and Angie Adams.
