Louie A. Sobania, 78 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN and from 9:00-10:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN. Louie Sobania was born August 14, 1932 in Morrison County, Minnesota to the late William and Anna (Kaiser) Sobania. He was baptized and confirmed at Holy Trinity Church in Royalton, MN. He attended and graduated from Royalton High School in 1951. He enlisted in the United States Army on August 17, 1954, he was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged on July 31 1962. After his military duties. Louie returned to Royalton, MN where he worked for Horseshoe Potato farms, Rod Tieman Potato farms and Larson Boats in Little Falls. Louie then went to work for Frigidaire in St. Cloud, MN for 15 years. Louie enjoyed fishing and hunting. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Ed (Lucy) Sobania of Little Falls, MN, John (Delores) Sobania of Pequot Lakes, MN, Steve (Clarice) Sobania of Royalton, MN, Elmer (Mary) Sobania of Pequot Lakes, MN, Joe Sobania of Sartell, MN, Tom Sobania of Little Falls, MN, Regina Kostek of St. Cloud, MN, Mary Lee (Len) Schmitz of Cold Spring, MN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Sobania; step-dad, Cyril Wiener and several aunts and uncles. Casket Bearers will be: Louie's nephews.
