Lorraine C. Vilinski, 91 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Saturday, November 9 at her home in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at 10:00 A.M. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN with Father, Joseph Herzing officiating.The burial will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery.A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.
Lorraine C. Knaus was born July 10, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN to the late John and Anna Knaus.She was raised and attended school in Minneapolis, MN. She was united in marriage to Edward Vilinski on September 4, 1944 at St. Adalberts Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home on a farm north of Little Falls, MN in Green Prairie Township. Lorraine worked as a seamstress at Munsingwear in Little Falls, MN. She enjoyed embroidering, sewing, flowers, gardening, cooking, fishing and playing cards. Lorraine was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Christian Mothers and was a former 4-H Leader.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Shirley (Maynard) Williams of North Mankato, MN, Larry (Alice) Vilinski of Little Falls, MN, Joanne (Jim) Wimmer of Randall, MN, George (Terri) Vilinski of Little Falls, MN and Bonnie (Mike) Saari-Tholen of Little Falls, MN; daughter-in-law, Sue Vilinski of Little Falls, MN; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Knaus; husband, Edward Vilinski on June 8, 2008; son, Edward Vilinski, Jr; grandson, Adam Vilinski and a daughter-in-law, Joni Vilinski.
Arrangements are with the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.
