Loretta M. Schneider, age 94, of Little Falls, MN, formerly of Sobieski, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 13, 2009 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN. Interment is in the parish cemetery. Visitation 8:00 - 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 13, 2009 Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (southeast chapel) in Little Falls. Loretta Mary Muellner was born on July 3, 1914 in Freeport, Stearns County, Minnesota to the late Gregor & Hedwig (Blankowitch) Muellner. She was united in marriage to Theodore A. Schneider on September 12, 1939 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa, Minnesota. The couple farmed all their married lives in the Sobieski area. Loretta was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski and the Christian Mothers. She was an excellent seamstress, sewing wedding and bridesmaid dresses. Loretta enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, loved flowers, praying the Rosary, playing cards and Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia (Ralph) Liebsch of St. Paul, MN and son, Gerard "Buzz" (Lin) Schneider of Buffalo, MN; grandsons, Dr. Gregory (Judith) Liebsch of Chisago City, MN and Dr. Gary Liebsch of Omaha, NE; great-grandchildren, Scott & Krista Liebsch and a sister, Rosemary Dunnell of Salem, OR. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Gregor & Hedwig (Blankowitch) Muellner; husband, Theodore Schneider; brothers, Henry, Frank, Rudolph and Robert and sisters, Theresa, Elizabeth, Hedwig, Juliana, Agnes and Mary. Casket bearers are Dr. Gregory Liebsch, Dr. Gary Liebsch, Scott Liebsch, Duane Chock, Kenneth Chock and Greg Welinski.
