Lloyd LeDoux, 88 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Monday June 18, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls with military rites conducted by the Little Falls V.F.W. Post #1112 and the Little Falls America Legion Post #46. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Sunday, June 17 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (East Chapel) and one hour prior to the service at Holy Family Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be held at 5:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Lloyd was born October 5, 1918 in Ripley Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Hector & Marion (Doucette) LeDoux. He attended District #1 School in Belle Prairie Township in Morrison County. He spent time in the Civilian Conservation Corp. and later enlisted in the United States Army on January 22, 1941 and was discharged on September 5, 1945. Lloyd worked on the docks in Seward, Alaska from 1951 to 1953. He later returned to Minnesota where he farmed until his retirement in 1999. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and feeding his hummingbirds. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie and was a life member of the Little Falls V.F.W. Post #1112 and American Legion Post #46. He is survived by his sister, Beatrice Haselkamp of Little Falls, MN; sister-in-law, Alice LeDoux of Little Falls and 26 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hector & Marion LeDoux; brothers and sisters, Rose Sargent, Clarice Allord, Lilly Harth, Albert LeDoux, Walter LeDoux, Sylvia Anderson, Irving LeDoux and Viola (died in infancy).
