Jim, age 63, of Little Falls, MN died January 21, 2007 at St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Community Covenant Church in Upsala, MN with Rev. Craig Johnson officiating. Visitation is on Friday, from 12:00 a" 1:00 p.m. at the church. Private Interment will take place at a later date. Jim was born January 18, 1944 in Forbes, ND to Rudolph & Ida (Hoffman) Haux. He grew up in Forbes, ND and later moved to Brainerd and then in 1980 to Little Falls, MN. Jim was united in marriage to Geneva Bloom on September 5, 1981 at the Methodist Church in Little Falls, MN. He was employed at Scorpion Artic Cat as a welder. His hobbies included riding his Artic Cat ATV, having and caring for all his animals, building things, fishing on his pontoon, fishing with his family, camping, carpentry and welding. Dad enjoyed working as the PR person at the cafAC.. He enjoyed everyone's chats no matter how long or short. He loved swapping farm & fishing stories with his many favorite friends. Not to mention the wrestling nights of the week. Jim had his own group of wrestling lovers. Jim is survived by his spouse, Geneva Haux of Little Falls, MN; sons, Christopher (Linell) Haux of Princeton, MN; Chris (Erica) Haux of St. Cloud, MN; daughters, Shannon (John) Rowen of Little Falls, MN; Deb (Greg) Petersen of Upsala, MN; Pam DeRosier of Albany; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Florence (Carl) Eide; Bernice (Carl) Headquist ,both of Brainerd, MN; loved by many brothers and sister-in-laws; special friends, James P. Hadley, William W. Barnhart III, Mark Stumpf & Marlowe Christensen and his very little special friend Katie Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph & Ida (Hoffman) Haux; sister, Debbie Hosapple; grandson, Christopher Palubicki.
